The project
An end-user web site was a logical complement to the mobile applications. The CallConnect end-user Web site mirrors the architecture of the mobile applications and provides additional configuration features that would have been difficult to implement on the mobile applications. In the mobile applications, the Main screen shows the number of new voicemail messages but not the messages themselves. I took advantage of the additional space afforded by desktop or laptop computer monitors and moved the New Voicemail inbox to the Home page.
Users can configure their call management settings from the Home screen, and review, save, and delete voicemail messages. Through the web client, users can also respond to voicemail messages via email and even forward sound files to people outside the corporate PBX system.
Note: The actual end-user web site is only available within organizations that have installed CallConnect. |
